This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from domestic curly myrtle with a Sonoran desert ironwood ferrule

Medium sized, it is suited for 210mm Japanese kitchen knives. 

Weight: 43g Length: 132.8 mm (5 1/8”) 

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
